Yuan Xing Liang is a Chinese artist who creates amazing surrealistic clay sculptures. A graduate of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Liang’s recent work is derived from ancient narratives. The sculptures combine elements of nature, animals, and architecture to create stunning 360-degree works of art.
The artist’s statues are inspired by traditional Chinese folklore. Liang’s works are of incredible detail and most certainly require lots of patience create - some sculptures may take up to 3 months to complete.
And we see why - these unique pieces are crafted to the smallest detail - from the locks of hairs in the busts to the realistic emotions in the characters’ faces.
Each of Liang’s sculptures is unique and handcrafted from clay.
